Why do you want to know if you have asbestos-containing materials before you renovate, this is why!

Ice sickles and dams create mold problems and structural damage.  Ice should be prevented with proper installation of ventilation and insulation.

When a water line breaks be careful with who you hire to remove and dry. Most restoration companies are not trained for large-scale damage.

The number one cause of mold in a crawlspace is moisture.  This space had a slow water leak for years that ended up undermining the foundation walls.

So much wrong here,

• Small bucket
• Ground not graded to drain to the bucket
• No perforated pipe along perimeter to capture water
• No Vapor Barrier

This house was for sale in this condition.  Buyers beware!  This crawlspace had raw sewage, roaches, mold, structural collapse.

Wood rot mold comes in a variety of colors but is always due to one condition - moisture.

We were called to inspect after the demolition started.  This project became a large-scale asbestos spill.  

This client had a carpeted bathroom, a bad idea.  To make matters worse there was a slow leak in the wall that created mushrooms to grow.

Construction defect.  Improper flashing around the sliding door created wood rot.  Unfortunately for the Owner this was the case around all openings.
