Plateau Environmental is the only engineering company in the southwest of Colorado that specializes in investigating and resolving building problems. Our approach is multifaceted, utilizing skills and procedures that are state of the art. Our experience base is formed through over twenty years of building oriented diagnostics and inspection in places as diverse as power plants, hospitals, schools, commercial buildings and residential properties.

Plateau Environmental follows a “holistic” approach that considers how a building is designed, operated, and where it is situated. By looking at the building as a whole, problems become obvious, sometimes even before we walk through the door.  With enough information, we have sometimes been able to solve our clients’ problems over the phone.

Einstein once said “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler.” That philosophy describes our approach to resolving building problems as well. It doesn’t always mean the the solution is simple or painless, just that we strive to provide the most cost effective solutions for the problem at hand. We value your health as we value ours. The place where you live or work should be a source of health and well-being, not a source of discontent and contamination.
